A ninja armed with a kusarigama—a sickle and chain—swung the chain at Henry's legs. Henry leaped into the air, dodging the chain, and brought his blade down on the ninja's shoulder as he landed. The ninja's scream was cut short as his body was reduced to a husk, the blade absorbing his essence.
Another ninja, this one with twin sai, attempted a flanking maneuver. Henry blocked the first strike with his blade and caught the second sai with his free hand. With a twist, he disarmed the ninja and thrust his blade into the attacker's chest, turning him into yet another desiccated husk.

Chapter 65
Despite the relentless assault, Henry moved with deadly precision. Every swing of his blade was lethal, every movement calculated. He dodged, parried, and countered with ease, leaving a trail of lifeless husks in his wake. The remaining attackers grew increasingly desperate, their fear palpable.
A final group of ninjas, armed with a mix of shurikens and kunai, launched a coordinated attack from a distance. Henry deftly deflected the projectiles with his blade, then charged at the group. He cut through them one by one, each strike precise and deadly. The last ninja fell, his body crumbling to dust as his essence was absorbed by the blade, which made henry happy as he looked at the blade, but then a second later, a disappointed tut could be heard from him, "all of for just 64%, i though it would have broken through to tier 7".

That's right, Henry has managed to give the vibranium blade a function, which is to absorb souls, and he used the essence of flesh and souls extracted from the Hydra agents. Of course, before he gambled with the only vibranium in his stock, he drank several luck potions to the point where he was starting to get sick of their taste, "but nothing hitting a few more hideouts shouldn't solve, I do still have enemies," he chuckled to himself as he left.
An hour later, the chaos had subsided, and the basement was eerily silent. The door to the basement creaked open, and a group of figures descended the stairs. Leading them was Madam Gao, her small frame deceptively fragile. Her eyes, however, were sharp and observant, taking in every detail of the carnage.
Her men, a mix of Hand ninjas and trusted lieutenants, spread out, inspecting the scene with grim determination. Madam Gao walked slowly, her cane tapping lightly on the concrete floor. She paused by the first two bodies, now unrecognizable husks.
"Who did this?" one of her men asked, his voice barely masking his fear.
Madam Gao remained silent for a moment, her eyes narrowing as she surveyed the room. "It appears to be the work of someone formidable," she finally said, her voice calm and measured.
One of her lieutenants approached, holding a small vial of liquid that had survived the chaos. "What should we do, Madam?"
Madam Gao took the vial, inspecting it with interest. "We will adapt. This incident has shown us the extent of our vulnerability. It is a lesson, one we must heed."
She turned to her men, her expression one of steely resolve. "Clean this up. Ensure our operations are not disrupted further. And find out who did this. I wish to speak with them."
Her men nodded, quickly moving to follow her orders. Madam Gao lingered a moment longer, her eyes scanning the remnants of the battle. Despite the devastation, she appeared unfazed, almost contemplative.
As she turned to leave, she murmured to herself, "Whoever you are, you are powerful. But everyone has a weakness. And I will find yours."
With that, she ascended the stairs, leaving the basement in the hands of her capable subordinates. The air was thick with the scent of chemicals and blood, a stark reminder of the deadly encounter that had taken place. Yet, for Madam Gao, it was merely another challenge to overcome, another obstacle in her path.
Back in his hideout, henry could be seen, frowning, as in front of him, where his subordinates, and particular subordinates whom was balling his eyes, "sir i am sorry, i really i am sorry, believe give me a second chance, please" the man who was begging for his life was one of henry many subordinates, but recently he had been interrogated by the mask man and this opened mouth subordinates spilled whatever info he could, henry didnt seemed to care one as he signaled his hand, one of his subordinates brought a woman, "tina, no, please, sir, please give me a second-" before he continue the woman was shot in the head by henry.
"All i ask, is to keep your mouth shut, how hard can that be?" henry asked as he got up before sighted he then shot the man in the head, "clean this mess up," he groaned, he couldnt really be asked to do this action, not because he didnt want to take a live, no he was starting to enjoy that, especially when he extracted their flesh and soul, something about delivering high dosage of pain to people but he just couldnt be asked to deal with minor task like this as he had more important matter to attend to, like creating a stronger pheonix warrior potion, he then returned to his original hideout as he though, "i need to leave this place, i have been here for far too long" he was starting to get anxious if remaining in the same place for too long, epseially after what happened with the winter soldier, and terry could feel that he was anxious so he snapped his peak as if he was saying.
"What's the rush, jitterbug? Your anxiety won't make you any faster or smarter. In fact, watching you scramble around is almost as amusing as watching an alchemist try to turn lead into gold. Both are equally pathetic." but he was lucky henry couldn't understand otherwise he would be in deep shit.
"But what i need to improve what i already have?" he asked himself as he pondered, "well, since i am already specilising in fire, i might just focus on that" he though to himself as he contoued to think, before popping a limitless, which he noticed something, "the affect, are they reduced?" he asked himself as he immediately realised the reason why, "its mostly like because of the phoenix potion that enhanced my cognitive function so the effect are reduce but was i really that dump?" he ask himself but he already knew that so he started to work, "i already have an idea" he smiled as he started to work, before looking at a particular mutated plant in front of him.
