Capítulo 133: Chapter 133 - The kings and queens

John walked behind Tyrion, watching as the dragons flew into the distance. He was deeply impressed by the dragons and remained silent as they walked. After some time, the group arrived at the throne room of Dragonstone. Tyrion left John's side and approached Daenerys. As he walked, he overheard.

"Lords Dumbledore and Grindelwald, I am glad to see you again. I feel safe when two of the highest wizards are near me."

"Good day, Your Majesty. I am also glad to see you, besides, I prefer the weather of Dragonstone to the North," Dumbledore replied.

Nodding, Daenerys silenced both wizards. At that moment, Missandei spoke up.

"Welcome, Your Majesty Jon Snow, King of the North. We are pleased to welcome you. You stand before the rightful queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Daenerys Targaryen - the Dragonborn."

Having said this, Missandei fell silent and waited for Jon's introduction. Jon looked around, as if indicating to Davos that it was his turn to speak.

"Ahem, ahem."

"Oh. This is Jon Snow... King of the North."

Everyone smiled slightly at Davos's slightly unprepared greeting.

"Welcome, Jon Snow. I have long wanted to meet the man whom the wizards value. For now, I don't know what to say. Should I be disappointed? Perhaps enthusiastic?"

"No need, Your Majesty. As long as you agree to the alliance, you don't need to be enthusiastic, but I don't think you'll be disappointed in the outcome of the alliance either."

Daenerys nodded.

"Then let's move to a more pleasant environment. After the voyage, you must be hungry. They will serve us food in a couple of minutes, join us."

"I would be honored, Your Majesty."

The scene shifted to the council chamber. They came here after having lunch. The most important thing was that Dumbledore and Grindelwald left Jon and Davos and went to meet with members of the Order of the Flame, in particular with those soldiers who had recently completed their magic courses. At first, Jon wanted to ask them to stay, but he heard Dumbledore's voice in his head.

"Don't worry. They won't harm you."

Seeing Dumbledore disappear right in front of him after saying this, Jon sighed and followed Daenerys. So he and Davos found themselves in the planning room. Daenerys sat at the main table, studying Jon Snow and thinking, 'He's a bit small... But handsome....' She felt someone tugging at her sleeve under the table. She saw Tyrion, who was clearly indicating to her to stop staring at Jon so directly.

"Ahem, let's talk about our alliance."

"Yes. We are aware of the threat from the North, and we are ready to begin sending some of our troops to Winterfell."

"I hope it's not to conquer it?" Davos asked.

"Sir Davos, do you think if I wanted war, with the support of wizards, Dothraki, Tyrells, and Dornish, would I have called you here?" Daenerys replied.

Davos fell silent. He had to admit that the forces on both sides were not equal, and in case of any friction, it would be easy for Daenerys to destroy them.

John, on the other hand, didn't think Daenerys had any claims against him. She had referred to him as "Your Majesty" several times during the meal, as if acknowledging his right to the North. Although perhaps that was only until they dealt with the White Walkers...

'White Walkers, White Walkers...'

John wondered why Daenerys was ready to support them in opposition to the Walkers. According to his information, Daenerys and her people had never been to the North, except for Tyrion, who used to think that all stories about Walkers, Children of the Forest, and giants were just myths. So he decided to ask.

"Your Majesty, Lord Tyrion. May I ask you a question that troubles me?"

"Of course, ask what you want to know?"

"Your Majesty, when I received your letter, my advisors strongly advised me not to come to you, but I decided to trust you because you wrote that you knew about the threat from the North. So if you would be so kind, could you tell me where you learned about the threat from the North? I understand that perhaps the wizards told you about it, but I think that although we both trust the people who helped us, you would not offer your help so decisively."

"You're right. Until I saw a White Walker myself, I doubted whether such a creature really existed, and perhaps if not for one encounter, I would have continued to turn a blind eye to the bigger picture."

"You saw a White Walker!?"

John lost his composure for a moment, because if what Daenerys said was true, then the Wall could not protect them from the Walkers. In all the records and legends, the Wall prevented the White Walkers from appearing beyond its borders not because of its height, but because of the magic with which it was endowed. If Daenerys had seen a White Walker in person, it meant that the Wall no longer restrained these monsters! So as soon as the Walkers broke through the gates, they could move freely throughout Westeros!

"Yes, we saw. In fact, we can summon him right now. Someone, please call Ser Bellam."

"You have a White Walker here!?"

John almost shouted.

At that moment, Bellam's voice came from behind the door.

"Your Majesty Snow, please calm down. I'm not like my relatives..."

Upon hearing Bellam's voice, John quickly turned towards the doors. Davos also turned, and literally a second later, "Damn it!"

They both drew their swords. Seeing their actions, Daenerys's guards and even certain wizards touched the handles of their weapons. The former placed their hands on the sword hilts, while the latter gripped their wands.

Seeing their movement, Daenerys waved her hand, indicating that there was nothing to worry about. At the very least, she understood that even if Dumbledore wasn't by her side, as long as he wasn't too far away, she could ask him to protect her.

Besides, she didn't think Jon Snow would attack her. It was obvious why he had drawn his sword and who he was directing it towards.

At the same time, Daenerys's brief communication with her subordinates went unnoticed by Jon and Davos. They both focused all their attention on Bellam, who had just entered.

"Who are you? Why can a Walker speak?" John said without lowering his sword.

Bellam tried to ease the tension, seeing that the others were smiling at the situation.

"Um, Your Majesty, please lower your sword. Firstly, I am a Walker, and originally stronger than you. Secondly, I am a wizard, and you won't be able to touch me in case of a battle."

"..."

"Besides, as you can see, I am not aggressive, and I don't hate life. Initially, I am here to help you defeat the Walkers."

"You're also a Walker. How can I trust you?"

"Yes, I am a Walker, but that fact doesn't change my goal. My task is to rid the world of the undead and try to restore consciousness to my friends, and without destroying the army of White Walkers, this cannot be done... So I am not your enemy."

Bellam raised his hand and gestured to the others in the throne room.

Unlike John, they were all calm.

John looked around to see Daenerys.

"Your Majesty Snow, calm down. Bellam is our honored guest, and he speaks the truth."

"..."

John nodded and sheathed his sword.

Seeing that John had put away his sword, Davos also sheathed his sword.

"Now that he's our ally, I would like to hear from him everything he knows about the White Walkers."

"Of course."
