Selene's POV
The sound of the door alerted me. It was morning. I lay on the bed unable to control the tears that rolled down my face.
"I can see that you didn't touch your dinner," Devon said as he walked closer to where I sat.
*Silence*
"Are you going to keep silent?"
*Silence*
He sighed.
"I have never been this nice Selene, but you are making me lose my patience. What can I do to make you loosen up?"
I gazed at him.
At that moment, he looked different, and I couldn't help but admire his ravishing handsomeness.
His hair is long and dark as a raven, darker than anything that has roamed the earth. His eyes were deep blue and so sharp that his stare pierced into my soul. His perfectly shaped face and height were so incredible. Indeed, he is the most beautiful being I have ever seen, but that doesn't mean I want to be his.
"Take me home."
"Please, take me back to my pack. This is the only way you can get to me."
A loud bang was heard.
At once, anger flashes through his eyes.
"Never!"
"Never! That will not happen! You are my mate, Mine alone! The sooner you realize this, the better!"
He walked out of the room hitting the door hard.
I didn't care.
He might be immortal, but that doesn't scare me. I am an Alpha, and I will never be under anybody's rule. I will do all I can to get out of here, I vowed.
Venia's POV.
"I can't believe he will choose her over me."
I stared at an open window, my hands gently caressing my cat who meowed attentively.
Devon And I have been friends for thousands of years. I have been nothing but loyal to him, I gave him my best, not just support but my body. I gave him all, but what he could do to repay me was pick an animal over me.
"No!"
"I must do something. I can't fold my arms and watch all my plans go down the drain, NEVER!"
My lips stretched into a smirk.
"I guess it's time I visit an old friend."

A thick smoke clouded my eyes.
"Long time Veina. I never thought I was going to set my eyes on you this soon."
I smiled, the sound of my feet echoed as the dim light radiated power.
"It's good to see you, Recon."
Recon's kingdom was the biggest after Devon's. Both brothers have always been at war for thousands of years.
He walked towards me, his arms widely spread.
"You always look beautiful, Veina, it's so crazy that my brother never sees this."
I grinned.
"Devon will, very soon."
Recon laughed heartily, a peal of laughter that accompanied so many unspoken words.
"I heard that he has a mate now. I can't believe Devon will stoop so low and choose a beast for a mate."
I swallowed hard.
There was a tone of mockery in his voice.
"Why are you here Venia? The last time we spoke, you made it clear to me that you will never be mine. Or have you changed your mind since my brother chose another instead of you?"
"Enough Recon! Don't mock me!"
He laughed and stood up from his throne, a black cloak over his dress, his long black hair resting firmly on his shoulders.
"This isn't to mock Venia, but the truth. Look at you, a beautiful immortal ancient demon rejected. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the news. Join me, be my queen and all that my brother never gave you, I, Recon, will provide them all '' his red eyes glittered as he placed his hand on my cheek.
I smiled.
"You know the answer, Recon, I love your brother."
"You love a god who doesn't love you?! Wake up Venia! Wake up!"
Anger rose in me. I looked away as I tried to fight the emotions.
"Devon is mine! He is mine and mine alone. He loves me but hasn't known it yet, and I will do anything to make him see it!" I looked at him.
"I need your help, Recon, that's why I am here."
Recon grinned.
"If it's regarding my brother, I am sorry, I will not help you."
"It won't be for free Rocon, I promise you something in return."
He smirked.
"Tempting Venia, that sounds very tempting."
I took a step closer.
"All you ever wanted is to have me, but what if I assure you that if you help me get Devon, I promise you his kingdom!"
Recon's eyes widened in shock.
"My brother's kingdom?"
"Yes, Recon." I smiled and walked towards him.
"Isn't this what you have always wanted? All your existence, you have been looked down on by your brother. Everyone sees you as a substitute, never original, but I promise you, everything will be nothing but history if only you help me get what I want."
Greed radiated from him.
"Oh Vienna…" he laughed, "I have always known that you have the guts. But what will you gain if the man you want loses his kingdom and pride as the god of the underworld."
I placed a kiss on his lips.
"Nothing, absolutely nothing matters more to me than having Devon, do this, and you will get what you have always desired."
Recon pulled me closer, our noses touched with our lips very close.
"Alright Venia, It is done, leave everything to me, but you must keep to your bargain."
"No secrets."
I nodded, and we kissed passionately. He pinned me to the wall and kissed my neck.
"Oh, Recon." I moaned.
Quickly, he pulled down my thong and placed his tongue between my legs.
I moaned loudly in ecstasy.
He continued sucking my slit. I rolled my eyes over enjoying his wetness. Immediately, I felt him go deep inside me.
"F**k!" I screamed as he began to thrust in me good, my sheath dripping wet.
My crown hardened, and my heart pounded faster as my sharp nails dug into the golden walls.
Recon f*cks good, so hard that it makes me explode.
I smirked as we made love, evil thoughts invaded my mind.
"You fool! Watch and learn. Let the best player win."
