The fluttery feelings in my stomach are like a tight knot threatening to ruin me.

Finding your fated mate is by far the best feeling ever... So they say, and right now, I can't argue otherwise. Just a few minutes with Beta Lucas, and I almost lost all of the self-control I'd built for ages.

I turned eighteen roughly ten years ago and contrary to popular opinions of meeting your fated mate on your eighteenth birthday, I was met with rejection, or better yet, dejection.

What rejection is worse than the feeling of being hated by your mate even without meeting him? Like he hates me so much that he didn't want to find me.

Days upon days, I was being cruel to myself. I would talk down on myself, and pick on my wolf... More like I hated the entirety of my existence.
