Capítulo 6: Chapter Six
As Lin Xiu immersed himself in reading, his concentration was interrupted by the arrival of the heavenly princess Qing Yang. She had sent one of her attendants to inform Lin Xiu about her upcoming birthday banquet, scheduled to take place in two new moons' time. Reading the message with affectionate amusement, Lin Xiu dismissed the attendant.
"My lady, His Lordship expressed great delight upon receiving your message," Nian, the favored handmaiden of Qing Yang, remarked as she gently brushed Qing Yang's hair.
Qing Yang was truly adored by all who knew her. Renowned for her exquisite beauty, grace, and discerning taste in jewelry and adornments, she held a prominent position as an Inferno Rose Immortal. Her immense power and proficiency in archery and martial arts were widely recognized.
Though she possessed discerning standards, Qing Yang held deep affection for one individual in the four realms: Lin Xiu. She took pleasure in consuming the honey wine crafted by his lordship and held a fondness for him.
"Nian, did Lin Xiu truly smile upon receiving my invitation? He was the first to receive such an honor," Qing Yang articulated, her cheeks flushing with a subtle blush.
Nian praises her lady's beauty, intelligence, and skills. Yang asks for advice on what to wear for her banquet. Qing Fang the heavenly king and Yang elder brother enters the scene, and Yang happily greets her brother.
"How's my little sis preparing for her extravagant birthday??any wishes?" Fang asked sweetly
"That reminds me, brother, I desire a dress that surpasses the beauty of the stars, one that will be envied in all realms. Lin Xiu believes red suits me well, as I am a six-petal inferno rose. Brother, I request the finest ornament and silk be prepared for me!" Yang exclaimed with excitement, envisioning how stunning she would appear on her birthday.
Qing Fang's expression darkened, and a frown formed on his brow. For a moment, he felt displeased and unsatisfied, but Nian quickly served the two brother sister due some tea.
"Sister,you keep mentioning that nasty bird every now and then, I'll die of ear pain soon enough if I keep hearing his name again and again!" He jokingly snorted and hissed in annoyance.
"Brother!" Qing Yang yelled
"Alright Alright,I'll do as you wish. Don't stress yourself up okay. I'm about to have a meeting with the Chief advisor and some immortals, meanwhile if your bored play with this jade pendant I conjured for you, it is made with a dragon blaxr and the core of the demon heart,it's has many features that could help in the future" Fang Stated passing the jade to Qing Yang and heading out.
"Brother!! Your always busy with the heavenly affairs, reading books or having some beauty to yourself. I wonder if you still care about me!" Yang yelled and poured her lips like a child complaining.
"Alright am sorry, when ever you want my help just rub the jade and I'll appear at your service," Fang said as he attached it to her gown and kissed her forehead.
"Thanks brother," Yang said as her brother vanished.
[Cough,Cough] Chao Xing coughed as he woke up looking pale, looking around the ice cave, He noticed he was on ice and his wounds were all healed up except the scars, looking at his body,his clothes had been changed.
"This lousy bird had the audacity to...."
Xing stared at his body in shame and in disgust not being able to find the right word to say.
He looked forward and saw Lin Xiu soaked at the other day inside a spring water.
Lin Xiu was in his true form this time, his wings were all sprung out and his beautiful hair loosed laying flawlessly on his back.
Lin Xiu closed his eyes enjoying the hot spring.
For a moment, Xing was lost in the beautiful features of the bird. "He's indeed handsome," Xing muttered. His eyes tracing Lin eyes down to his beautiful lips. Snapping out of his daze, he realized his gawking and drooling for his fellow Man.
"Chao Xing, what are you doing?Oogling and crushing on your fellow man who's the cause of your terrible situation right now!" Xing said on a low done with that of disgust.
He sighted Lin Xiu Phoenix hair pin and tiptoe and picked it, raising his hand to stab Lin Xiu, he slipped his leg because of the sleepery ice on the floor and fell into the water. [Lin Xiu chamber was an ice cave, everywhere was filled with ice except the hot spring]
"Ahhhh," Xing shouted as he fell into the water and waking the bird up..
Although Xing could swim, Lin Xiu fire beast was inside the water, it quickly rushed as he perceived a satisfying scent to eat.
It bit Xing leg from beneath the water making Xing cry out silently but it ended when Lin Xiu slipped his hand at Xing back and pulled him in his embrace.
Their eyes locked with one another,water droplets rolling down from Lin hair down to his lips. The two eyes peering at each other soul was one with annoyance and the other out of shame.
Chao Xing made effort to pull away but Lin grip only tightened!!
"Stay out or my beast will feed on you!" Lin warned.
Lin bent his neck closer and closer to Xing lips. Xing eyes widened with surprised at the bird sudden movement.
'Xing your dignity has been destroyed by this bird, I didn't think he does men too, Disgusting!!Shame on me. If I don't avoid his kiss I'll end up being a man's wife!' Xing said inwardly in anger.
As Lin came closer leaving no space, he was cut off by Xing funny statement.
"Mr.bird, that's enough!! I'm not a gay like you, am a full pledge agile young man, your so shameless. We're both men and you....." Xing couldn't complete his statement as he looked sideways in disgust.
'What a fool'Lin muttered inwardly as he smiled with amusement.
"Lin bent and dragged his hair pin Xing held at his back and placed it on Xing wrist which magically turned into a bracelet.
"Firstly I don't do men, secondly it's your dirty mind that's giving you this shameless thought and thirdly weather your a man or even a woman, your not my taste". Lin said with a smug as he pushed Xing away.
The beast immediately stopped being aggressive towards Xing and turned backwards and left!!
"What are you ashamed of Kid, we are both men and ....." Xing placed his Palm on Lin lips and ran out of the water in shame and embarrassment.
Just as Xing was about to leave , he heard Lin instructions.
"There's a rope and shoed on the bed, Change up and stay put. I'll be there soon!"Lin Xiu said with his eyes closed. Using his magic he kicked Xing out and closed the cave entrance.
