For two days Lovita had been missing in action and I was irritated by the fact that I kept calling him and he always answered with coldness. How come my mate was acting up? When I asked Tharn he shrugged his shoulders and avoided me.

I had taken the boat to the pearl farm and found Old Man Cyrus who informed me that Lovita had spent the night at the farm on the first day that I could not find him. I buried myself in work thinking that he was dealing with something important.
