The first light hit my eyes as I took my first breath, and suddenly, I was part of the world. It was bright, noisy, and filled with things I couldn't quite understand yet. But I felt something exciting waiting for me.
Growing up was strange. I did the usual baby stuff—eating, sleeping, and, well, you know. But there was something different about me. People said I was odd, that I never cried and always looked like I was thinking hard about something. They still loved me, though, and I liked that.

As the days passed, I couldn't wait to be out there exploring. Dragonstone, the island I called home, had cliffs and shores, and I could feel the stories of ancient dragons in the sea breeze.
'I thought talking to animals would be easy. But it's not. They don't want to talk back, and I don't get why.'
Disappointment hit me, but I didn't give up. I started training in secret, doing things no one else could understand. The island became my playground, and every corner felt like it had secrets I needed to uncover.

I kept wondering about family and where I fit in. There was something more to it than just having the same blood. So, while everyone thought I was just a kid, I was quietly figuring out my own way—a way that would lead me to the dragons, to the power inside me, and to whatever destiny was waiting.
The chapter ended with the wind carrying the whispers of a determined kid, ready for the extraordinary journey ahead.
