She sighed and slumped back in her carriage. It was an ornate, comfortable carriage, capable of holding at least half a dozen people.
If anything, it made the carriage feel obnoxiously large and empty with it only being her and one handmaiden in it.
This was a stupid request.
She didn't often think so disrespectfully of her grandmother, but this! This was an exception worth grumbling over.
Even if she didn't do it aloud. She had her limits of propriety.
Anyway. Why did she have to go to the nation of Tira now?
She was only princess, so it wasn't like her presence had any real pull, and she couldn't even negotiate anything. It didn't make sense why she needed to be in Tira, or why her grandmother wouldn't tell her why she was going.
And why couldn't Phoenix come with her?
She had multiple guards and servants going with, so why not Phoenix? That whole 'no leaving the capital' thing was dumb.
