Capítulo 169: I'm not sneaking in work, I'm efficiently using energy

Anxious energy bubbled through Isabelle as she made her way back down the stairs toward her study. She couldn't pinpoint the source of it, but she couldn't ignore it, either.

She needed a distraction and decided to make some progress with sorting the affairs of the Empire. That task could provide an outlet for her excess energy.

It might prove quite fruitful to address issues throughout her empire while the festival continued, as well. With so many visiting nobles around, she might be able to gain insights about different regions or their leaders which could make negotiating later simpler.

She opened the door to her study, not expecting to encounter anyone else in the room, especially at such a late hour.

Once inside, she saw a single person occupying the space.
