He couldn't understand how Shye managed to kill the Brallnr Cyclops in moments, while they had struggled to defeat it even when attacking it together.

Shye had simply taken advantage of the fact that [Dark]-type attacks were not only permitted but also enhanced two-fold in power within the dark domain. 

This allowed him to swiftly kill the Brallnr Cyclops in a single strike using his trump card, [Nightfall Reaper].

Additionally, the extreme darkness allowed him to keep his trump card a secret, which was a great bonus.
