Announcer: What a victory folks. And by the looks of it, we have a good fight ahead of us in the future with the things that are progressing.
In the Ice field –
Announcer: Gary Oak, has done it again folks he has won his 3rd battle effortlessly. And he has demolished his opponent can anyone stop this rookie or are we seeing the birth of a new champion?
Gary just smirked and his cheerleader just sang his praises and cheered him on. With the entire crowd.
Professor Oak 'Thinking': if things like this go on, I guess both Gary and Ash will most probably face each other in the Semi-final, and whoever wins will have to face the new monster of this generation and either one of them will become a monster of their generation or lead it or not. Only time will tell.
Ash's POV –
After my battle, I quickly went to the Pokemon Centre but not before congratulating my entire team, as none of them were seriously injured just tired. I gave them a few words of encouragement and I then went with Pikachu to the Pokemon Centre.
Ash: so Pikachu what do you think about the battle we had?
Pikachu: PI Pikachu.
Ash: hm, I agree with you. That was a good fight.
As we talked, we reached the Pokémon center and I then gave my 3 Pokemon to Nurse Joy. As this was my last battlefield, to reach the top 32, I was given a day to prepare my opponent was already selected and it was a guy named Jason.
Soon, I met Mom, Brock, and Misty and we talked about our match when Haunter's topic came up, he suddenly came out of my shadow. Scaring both my friends when they saw him.
Haunter: HAUNTER
Borck/ Misty: AH
Ash: Haunter what are you doing here, I thought you were with others at the Pokémon center.
Haunter: haunter haunt
He said while playing with his mom, his mom was treating him like a child. And after hearing his word my eyebrow twitched, while I can't understand my Pokémon like Aura Guardians or Physics. I can get a basic understanding of my Pokémon and according to the Ghost Pokémon, he had given a scare to Nurse Joy Chansey and ran off to find me. And I just released my Chansey and nodded to her while pointing at Haunter. And this has happened a few times and Chansey just sighed and pointed towards the Poke-centre direction and said one word.
Chansey: Chansey
And my little Ghost Pokémon just ran with a terrified scream towards the Pokémon center. In our Group, I can safely say Chansey is the one that none of my Pokémon will ever disobey and oh boy, I remember when Charizard did that. 10 times gravity and a whole lot of attacks were not a good thing, and the aftermath, especially she healed him after that, with a sweet smile on her face. Safe to say none of my Pokémon and a large extent me will ever go against her especially my starter Pokémon, Chansey might not be a battler, but her attacks hurt a lot more than I can tell you.
Ash: good work, Chansey go have yourself some ice cream. Here is some money.
Chansey: Chansey
She said and happily went towards a nearby Ice-cream shop and bought herself some ice cream gave one to a small kid and played with the kid while the parent just watched.
Misty: wow, I did not think your Chansey would scare that scary Haunter so much.
Brock: yeah, Ash what up with that Haunter and Chansey.
Ash: well, let's just say Chansey is someone who doesn't like to say something twice and everyone in my team is scared of her, everyone including Pikachu and Charizard.
Brock: what happened.
Ash: don't ask, just don't.
As I said that with a bit of scared expression I thought of training in heavy gravity while dogging huge boulders and trees while Chansey threw at me with a smile on her face and I could see even Pikachu was scared of her.
Seeing both of our expressions both Brock and Misty also decided to not. After that, I decided to change the topic and see about my opponent and other battles in the League going on, we went and saw various league battles and I and Gary also met and we had our bickering and I asked him to fight with his all, in his tomorrows match and showed him my side of a half Poke-ball and he also did his.
And in the battle with a girl named Asunta, he won the match using his starter and with a score of 2 to 3 in his favor.
Soon time passed and with a day's rest, I was ready for my match against Jason Druella.
3rd person POV –
In the Grass Field
Announce: welcome people to the Grass field, today is a fine day for Pokémon battles. Today in the red corner we have Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and in the green corner, we have Jason Druella from Hop-Hop Town.
Referee: trainers, this will be a 3 on 3 battle, and whoever Pokémon is unable to battle in the end wins there is no time limit and both are allowed to substitute your Pokémon. is everything understood by both of you?
Ash: yes
Jason: of course.
Referee: very well, trainers release your Pokémon.
Candice: Go Vileplume, I choose you.
Ash: Persian, I choose you.
In the stands we see the 3 team Rocket members selling popcorn, Hot dogs, and other snacks.
James: wow, the twerp is well in this tournament.
He said in an impressed tone.
Jessie: yeah, and that just motivates me to steal his Pokémon, especially Pikachu as his starter must be even stronger than his other Pokémon.
While the 2 members were talking about ash, the Meowth of Team Rocket was staring at the Persian, with a hint of fear but that was overshadowed by a bit of resentment for the Persians. He remembered the 2 Persians, he met in his life and he hated both of those Persians, the 1st is the Bosses Persian as he took his boss's attention while the 2nd is the Persian that stole his first love in Hollywood. When he met the Twerp's Persian, she had told called him a young kitten and for some reason, he couldn't come to hurt her and at the moment he wanted to yell at her but know he couldn't, when he saw her she reminded her of his old ma that had tragically died. He stared at her with mixed feelings.
On the battlefield –
Ash: Persian, let's show them your grace and power.
Jason: Vileplume, time to bloom into action! Let's dance through this battle.
Ash: Persian, start with Quick Attack! Swiftly close the gap.
Jason: Vileplume, use Petal Dance! Create a dazzling whirlwind of petals.
Persian darts forward with Quick Attack, aiming to close in quickly. However, Vileplume responds with a mesmerizing Petal Dance, creating a beautiful but formidable barrier of swirling petals.
Ash: Persian, use Feint! Bypass the Petal Dance and strike.
Jason: Vileplume, Stun Spore! Release spores to disrupt the Feint.
Persian attempts to use Feint to bypass the Petal Dance, but Vileplume counters with a strategic Stun Spore, releasing spores to disrupt Persian's movements.
Persian tried to shake off the Stun Spore
Vileplume: Vileplume
Vileplume said with poise and elegance.
Ash: Persian, it's time for a dazzling move! Play Rough.
Jason: Vileplume, Moonblast! Counter the Play Rough with a burst of lunar energy.
Persian engages with a playful yet powerful Play Rough, but Vileplume counters with a radiant Moonblast, creating a collision of fairy and floral energy.
Ash: Persian, use Hypnosis! Mesmerize Vileplume with a hypnotic gaze.
Jason: Vileplume, resist it with Sweet Scent! Clear away the hypnotic effect.
Persian attempts to use Hypnosis, but Vileplume counters with a Sweet Scent, clearing away the hypnotic influence.
Persian (focused): Persian
Vileplume (showing signs of weariness): Vile
Ash: Persian, let's finish this with a swift and precise move! Power Gem.
Jason: Vileplume, hold on! Try to dodge and counter with Solar Beam.
Persian summons a glimmering Power Gem, aiming for Vileplume. Vileplume attempts to dodge and counter with a charging Solar Beam.
The battle concludes with Persian's Power Gem proving faster and more precise than Vileplume's Solar Beam. Vileplume is unable to finish the charge, and Ash emerges victorious.
Referee: as Vileplume is unable to battle the winner of the first round Ash Ketchum, Trainer Jason you have 30 seconds to release your next Pokémon and Trainer Ash you also have 30 seconds to decide if you want to substitute or stay with Persian.
Ash: Fantastic job, Persian! Your grace and precision shone through.
Persian: Persian
Persian purring contently
Jason: return Vileplume, you did your part now leave it to your team members.
Ash: I will continue with Persian.
Referee: very well, now trainer Jason Please release your second Pokémon.
Jason: Go Rhyhorn, I choose you.
Referee: let the second round of battle start.
Before Jason could command give any command to any of his Pokémon, Ash had decided to give an order to his pokemon.
Ash: Persian, don't give Rhyhorn any chance use, a quick attack get close, and use iron tail continuously.
Seeing an order given Persian instantly was in front of Rhyhorn and used a continuous Iron tail.
Jason: Rhyhorn, try to get out of there.
Seeing Rhyhorn unable to do anything, Jason tried to return Rhyhorn but before that could happen, Persian Struck Rhyhorn on his horn and sent him reeling out of the field towards a wall Rhyhorn hit the wall and was instantly defeated and was unconscious with swirls in his eyes.
Seeing this none of the audience could believe how short the 2nd round was. Even the announcer was silent for a minute, but suddenly a voice rang in the stadium.
Referee: as Rhyhorn is unable to battle the winner of the second round is Ash Ketchum, now Trainer Jason you have 30 seconds to release your next Pokémon and Trainer Ash you also have 30 seconds to decide if you want to substitute or stay with Persian.
Jason: I would like to forfeit.
Ash: what, why?
Jason: Vileplume and Rhyhorn are my strongest Pokémon and my other strong Pokémon have still not recovered by the last battles my other Pokémon are not that strong and you have 2 more healthy Pokémon, so instead of having my Pokémon get hurt for a loss, I give up.
Seeing this, Ash and the rest of the audience clapped for the person who surrendered rather than having his ego ahead of him, while some will say he should have not given up. But the saying still fight at a later instead of dying is for a reason.
Referee: very well, since Jason Druella has given up the winner of the Grass field is Ash Ketchum.
While everyone clapped, we saw Ash Ketchum and Jason Druella could be seen shaking hands and walking out of the stadium while talking about the league and battle.
