Capítulo 13: FRIENDS FOREVER
She finally made up her mind and decided to go downstairs. At first she had not been very sure of this. But then she remembered that there was no way out of it so she had gathered all the courage that she had and made a final decision to go through the marriage.
She then called one of her maidservants and asked whether everyone was downstairs.
"Yes," She said "Everyone is downstairs except the groom. He has not come out his room since morning. And he will not be arriving at the venue any sooner.
"Okay you can go now,"Neya said. Those words she had spoken had shocked her.
She had expected the groom to be there a little bit earlier than her. She wondered whether he wanted to get married to her or not. She could not possibly go if the groom was not there. It would not seem right. So she decided to wait a little bit longer.
She did not know what was happening.
Now she did not have the spirit of going now. She had faced her fear and was willing to go but now her future husband was not even there. Did he really want to get married to her? Was he really going to back out of this marriage before it even happened? She kept on asking herself.
Back in Nahor's bedroom Jordan was trying to convince Nahor to accept the marriage again. Jordan did not why Nahor had suddenly changed his mind. If he had done so then everything would not turn out well for him.
But Nahor had changed his mind.
"Nahor listen to me it is getting late everyone is waiting downstairs for you. You can't keep all of them waiting can you?
Besides you should not break promises. You agreed and so you have to fulfill your side of the deal."
"Nahor sat there quietly.He was already smartly dressed in his wedding attire. It looked as if he was thinking thoroughly about this marriage.
And after some few minutes Nahor smiled to himself and stood up and said"Let's go to my wedding. You are my best man so you have to be by my side."
When Nahor said that he was going Jordan wondered what he was thinking about that made him to accept.
He never could fully understand his friend but still they would remain friends forever.
"Are you coming or what?"Nahor asked
"I am right behind you,"Jordan said.
