Initially, they had planned to launch a surprise attack on the antagonists under the cover of night. 

However, after the protagonist Pollo's investigation using the "Invisibility Spell," they realized that it might not be a good idea.

Even if they could successfully carry out the ambush, killing one or two antagonists, they would undoubtedly face a massive counterattack next. 

Perhaps even more intense retaliation!

Moreover, now that it was confirmed that Alan was an antagonist, and not just any antagonist but a 2nd-tier, almost 3rd-tier antagonist, the protagonists were at their wits' end.
