Time to do the craziest shit, Alex thought as he looked down and saw the monster's jaw becoming apparent in the seawater. Alex looked at the shore once more, the crowd's arms scattering to see him falling to the seawater, but he wasn't dying today.
Alex turned his body to face belly-first in what could be described as an imprudent movement, but it was time to be a little imprudent. He clenched the ore in his right hand, encased in the devil's gauntlet, and pressed it with force, but not enough to break it. The monster was halted there, just like in a child's movie, waiting for its prey.
I'm slowly recovering my mental health, I promise I'll be back to post 2 chapters/day as soon as I'm able to. I'm somewhat happy with the story and with the quality of it, I'm leagues away from having a good prose, but I think the tale is being told in a fun way. Hope you guys keep reading. See you tomorrow.
