Capítulo 136: Bargaining

I managed to 'Bargain' for two back-to-back positive events, but it seems I've run out of bargaining power. I'm screwed! Kate looked around, and noticed the knights that had begun to surround her.

Bargainer was a completely different descendancy than Lua had imagined. It was quite a rare one, so not much was known about it. However, Catherine happened to be a Grade 9 Bargainer, allowing her to wield powers much stronger than she should normally have been able to.

The main trait of a Bargainer is to gamble - through unknown means, they are able to request powers by trading their Emberions away. However, there were some very severe limitations. First of all, the power requested could not exceed two Grades above the user's level. If it did, it would instantly drain the user of Emberions, possibly killing them.
