At Mateo's request, Clara took Mateo with herself to the platform to attend the gathering. She was a bit worried that there might be no one there, which would be quite frustrating!

A gathering promised in words alone couldn't be taken seriously! Upon reaching the platform, there was no one around. On the vast open space, besides charred tree branches, black stones, and a gentle summer breeze, there was no sign of anyone else.

Suddenly, the sound of drums echoed from the woods!

"This doesn't look good!" Mateo, alert, perked up his ears, his eyes wide and bright, staring in the direction of the drumming.

"What's happening to Mateo!" Clara was hearing the drumming during the day for the first time. The last time she saw everyone drumming was when the fox tribe leader came for a meeting.
