Capítulo 22: Casual interrogation

Nazmi felt uncomfortable under his scrutinizing eyes. He had been staring into her for several minutes now without saying a word, and she was getting antsy.

"If you don't want me to be here, you could just say so," Nazmi said awkwardly. She was preparing to stand and leave when he grabbed her wrist to stop her.

"No. Sit." The Prince commanded, to which she reluctantly seated herself again.

"Why?" She asked.

"I have serious questions for you," he stated. "You will answer them."

"If I feel like it, sure," she replied, rolling her eyes.

Samir's expression hardened, and he tightened his grip on her wrist. "It wasn't a question. You will answer them."

Nazmi winced and placed her free hand on top of his in surrender. "Fine, fine! Go ahead and ask, as long as I know the answer I will tell you."
