Capítulo 297: Better place (1)

It took two days to search every room in the palace, inspect all the work of the doctors, and gather all the men who knew of Berkeley's work and brought him the dead from the court.

Many of Grant's followers were hanged throughout the two days. It was done by the gates to serve as a warning for anyone else who wanted to go against the king. 

Hazel returned to the palace when all the death was cleaned up as Tobias didn't want her to witness it.

Hazel didn't know how to feel the first time she entered the palace again. There was a weird feeling she couldn't explain. A mixture of being uncomfortable yet happy to be near her husband. 

Learning of Tabitha knowing about Grant's plan to get Linda on the throne before anyone else did came as a surprise, but also not a surprise. Hazel knew back then that Tabitha would have loved to have her replaced with another woman.
