"What is this house used for? There are plenty of rooms in the palace so it couldn't be for guests right?" Hazel questioned, looking around the outside of the small mansion. 

"It was a gift from one of my relatives to his lover. I was told that it ended up never getting used by the woman. Why stay in this house when there is a grand palace and the man you are sleeping with is ruling it? Now, it is just for an escape sometimes," Tobias answered.

If Tobias could not make it out of the palace, he came here.

"I see. What a wonderful gift," Hazel replied.

"You can say that it was a foolish idea. If it makes you feel any better, the woman it was meant for died. The reason the king built it as a gift was because the queen wanted the woman out of the palace or she would kill her. The lover didn't want to go and ended up dead. There are many good stories in the palace records meant for us royals," said Tobias.
