Closer, getting even closer. Gu Fan and his group's hearts were racing as if they were going to jump out of their throats. They gritted their teeth, slowly drifting in the current, hoping that they wouldn't get involved in the chaos caused by the town's burning gate.

Some were on the shore, some were on rubber rafts, and others who had fallen into the water were in a state of panic, causing ripples. Worse still, gigantic monstrous fish would suddenly leap up from the water's surface and swallow people whole with one gulp.

Since they were downstream, the blood did not flow towards Gu Fan and his group. Only when they got closer did they realize the severity of their predicament. Unfortunately, they couldn't stop themselves from being swept towards the danger.
