Amanda Smith wiped her tears with her hand, and she saw Mrs. Johnson walk up from behind her, standing by her side. She slightly lowered her eyes and felt a piece of paper being slipped into her hand.
In an angle invisible to Samuel, she carefully unfolded it. It was a note from Mrs. Johnson: When Samuel goes on stage, come with me.
She bit her lip gently and clenched the note in her palm.
A drop of cold sweat slid down from her forehead, and she finally started to feel nervous.
After Donald Johnson finished speaking, it was Samuel's turn.
The man reached out to wipe the tears from the corner of her eye, his black pupils unable to hide his deep affection, and he whispered to Amanda, "Wait for me to come back, just a little while, okay?"
