The village head thought they were just ordinary items and happily took them without hesitation.

After the village head left, she kept busy all day, and this time, she continued to receive some items.

They were all new household appliances, but not ones she had purchased.

LCD TVs, refrigerators, kitchen appliances, new beds, and the like—it was all there.

The manufacturers had shipped them directly. The plan had originally been to have customized versions of everything delivered to her, but since the house wasn't ready yet, there was no rush. Lucy Wood, however, had noticed these things.

After all, she was going to live in the house, so it made sense to buy some things to make amends.

Ellen Young thought about it and decided not to refuse. With the new appliances moved in, the house began to look more like a home.

The tile-roofed house had only one story. Ellen planned to build another structure next to it for storage and as a small laboratory.
