Axel tore his gaze away from her and looked down at his injured arm once more. "I feel like a monster now. My wounds usually heal on their own, so why isn't it healing this time?" he asked, meeting Ave's confused expression.

"Your wounds even heal on their own now! Wow!" Logan exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock.

Meanwhile, the growling of the zombies continued, despite the players' efforts to remain quiet.

"Do you feel strange at all?" Lionel asked Axel. "And can those zombies just keep quiet?" he added, his tone laced with anger.

"No, I'm okay. I'm just surprised it hasn't healed," Axel replied with a heavy sigh, using his shirt to tie off the bleeding arm.

"It might be due to stress. I just want this fifth game to end. I really need rest," Florence said with a sad expression as she lay down on the floor, while the other players shook their heads in disbelief at her recent behavior.
