Capítulo 68: It was my fault

Anurak didn't sleep until he confirmed that Sophea was home and safe. Before they ended their call, she made him promise to settle things with New. After a lot of persuasion, he reluctantly promised.

But the next morning, he left for school without calling or notifying New. To his shock, he met New in class. Then it dawned on him that New was also angry. Anurak didn't want to care until Eshin gave him an earful about how stupid and inconsiderate he was.

“Who goes around committing crimes on their birthday? How stupid does a person have to be to jump into a fight with people he knows nothing about?” Eshin yelled at him over the phone. “Even Sophea knew she was wrong, so what is wrong with you?”

“I was the one who wanted to. He should have talked to me instead. Why face Sophea?” Anurak tried to argue back, rendering Eshin speechless.

“It's not your fault. New deserved to be treated like that. Who asked him to make friends with a Simp?” Eshin snorted, then ended the call.
