Safiya knew exactly what she was going to see, maybe the sword was faint, which was why Malik had not seen it.

But when she looked at it, she saw the sword drawn on it, glowing brightly. How had Malik not seen it, or was he just acting like he did not see it?

She looked at Oshim with wide eyes, then looked back at the pendant; the sword was still engraved on it.

Malik leaned towards her, seeing her conflicted eyes, "What is it, do you see anything?"

Safiya looked at Oshim and spoke frantically, "there is a sword engraved on it."

Malik looked at the pendant closely, he didn't see any sword on it.

Oshim smiled.

"What does it mean? Do you mean Malik did not see it?", Safiya asked.

Oshim stood up and walked to the fireplace, squatting to check on the roasted meat. "Only one person was meant to see it." She came back and sat on the stool. "The chosen one."
