It had been a number of days now that Vocada had spent inside his prison cell. Each morning and evening the guards would come with more water and stale cardboard-tasting bread for him, helping to keep him from death's door.
Vocada was recovering from his wounds a little more as each day passed by, finding that he didn't need to sleep as much anymore, healing much quicker than he thought he would.
Still, it would be some time until he was able to fight again, knowing that he had indeed broken some bones in his last battle and needed to let them heal without risking any more injury to his body.
During his time here Vocada had been visited by the same Vubrothian woman that had saved his life, unsure what she saw in him.
"I do hope you are being treated alright." She said, knowing that Vocada couldn't understand her words.
Vocada simply led on the straw bed on the ground, having been stripped of his clothing and given a set of dark blue rags to wear instead. His scouter had also been taken away, leaving him to guess when people were coming or not, forcing him to use his other senses much more often.
Does she really care if I live or die... Or is she simply keeping me alive so she can just kill me later? Vocada thought, unsure what her motive was, not even bothering to think about it for long.
Still, her visits didn't last for long before she would take her leave. Not that Vocada cared much, wanting nothing more than to be free of this place, hating that he was being kept in this cold and dark prison like an animal.
More time passed, with Vocada keeping a small tally that he had scratched on the wall with a small stone marking four weeks so far. Thanks to his Saiyan body his wounds had been healing much faster than they would have taken in his previous life.
He could now get up and walk around, even being able to perform a couple of movements such as press ups and squats, finding that the exercise seemed to help his body recover faster than just resting. Something that he guessed was unique to a Saiyan's biology.
During his time in this prison cell, Vocada also had lots of time to reflect on his memories of his previous life, helping him to remember many things about what his life was like, and giving him more insight into his expansive knowledge of being a Dragon Ball fanboy.
Vocada knew that Saiyans grew stronger every time they recovered from a near-death experience with a Zenkai boost, a very overpowered ability unique to Saiyans. He also remembered that if and when he transformed into a great ape his power would be multiplied by ten, however, as he was still not used to the transformation he would most likely lose his mind and go on a rampage.
Something else that Vocada had remembered about Saiyans was their tails. Vocada had only remembered this small detail as he played with his tail, using it to make shapes while he rested one night.
He had remembered that if someone grabbed a Saiyan's tail they would lose all their strength and power. However, he also remembered that Goku had been able to train his tail to overcome that weakness, deciding to put it to the test himself.
Vocada had proceeded to grab his own tail and gave it a squeeze, feeling pain shoot through his entire body making him go weak and feel sick as he did it.
"Fuck... That really hurts." He said to himself, feeling his tail throbbing and almost getting mad at him like it had a mind of its own.
"Sorry about that little guy," Vocada said, leaning back against the wall as he tried to think of a way he might be able to train it without so much pain.
"I guess it's a muscle just like the rest of my body... So, that means I can train it just like any other muscle." Vocada said, starting to make a workout plan that would revolve around his recovery and ways to help strengthen his tail and body.
Of course, he was very mindful to keep this to himself, making sure to play dead or be asleep every time a guard came to check on him. After all, Vocada knew that if any of the guards saw him training he would most likely be killed.
Another two weeks passed and the Princess continued to visit him, hoping that he would be feeling better as she tried to communicate with him. However, Vocada didn't show any interest and pretended to still be injured, getting the Princess to give up and let him rest, only to return the next day to check on him each time.
Vocada was now back to around 80% of his strength, feeling that his body was on the mend. He had been keeping up with his training, doing press-ups and squats throughout the day. He had also been training his tail, building up to tail press-ups and squats only using his tail to support his entire body weight, helping to strengthen the muscles in his tail and grow it thicker and stronger than it had been before.
Name: Vocada.

Level: 5 [EXP 150/200]
Strength: 6
Speed: 5
Ki control: 9
Ability points: 0
Abilities: [Oozaru transformation] [Zenkai boost] [Basic Ki control]
Thanks to his training, Vocada had also levelled up his strength stat to 6 and had also gained 50 EXP due to the physical training he had been doing. However, his power level had not gone up yet, wondering when his Zenkai boost would kick in, not sure how it worked quite yet.
Vocada had worked mainly on his physical training and had seemed to neglect any training regarding his Ki control. The knowledge of how to use Ki blasts and now larger beams had seemed to come to him naturally thanks to upgrading his Ki control stat. Still, he wanted to learn to control and understand it, deciding to take some time to see what he could do.
Vocada sat crossed-legged as he crossed his arms over his chest and closed his eyes, trying to think how he should go about this.
Suddenly the episode where Gohan taught Videl how to use her Ki entered his mind. Vocada also remembered the first time he had seen the episode, having tired to follow along back then in an attempt to use Ki.
Of course, nothing had happened and it kind of crushed his child hood dreams of flying like the Z warriors. Still, his love for Dragon Ball had continued, seeming to bring him to this very moment.
Vocada slowly opened his hands and let them open in front of his centre, allowing himself to clear his mind and focus his energy on the palms of his hands.
Suddenly a warm feeling flowed through his stomach before taking the form of a glowing energy orb in between his hands, causing Vocada to open his eyes and look at the energy.
"Amazing..." He said, knowing that if this had happened when he tried it as he kid, he might have cried in happiness.
"Wait a second... Didn't Gohan teach Videl to fly using this method?" Vocada said, wondering if he would be able to do the same.
Suddenly Vocada heard a banging and clanking noise, knowing that it meant the guards were coming. Vocada quickly let his energy disappear before he bolted across the room into his bed pretending to be resting.
"Here he is, sir." One of the guards said, showing the Prince Vocada's cell.
"Is he still not healed yet?" The Prince asked, looking through the small barred part of the door, seeing Vocada lying on the ground.
"He doesn't move around much, sir." The guard said.
"Is that so..." The Prince said before he snatched the keys from the guard and opened the cell door, causing Vocada to turn around and look to see who it was.
"S-Sir..." The guard said, not sure what was about to happen.
Vocada could see that it was the Prince and was shocked to see that the large snake alien suddenly grabbed him by the neck, pinning him against the wall with two of his arms.
"Let's see if you have any fight in you yet." The Prince said as his snake tongue hissed, looking directly into Vocada's eyes before he punched him in the stomach, causing Vocada to groan in pain.
Vocada took the first hit, feeling the pain in his chest hurt bad, not wanting to feel that again.
"I see a fire in your eyes, show me what you've got!" The Prince said as he got ready to hit Vocada again, throwing a punch toward the same spot.
However, this time Vocada blocked the attack, using both of his arms to catch and stop the Prince's punch, not being able to help himself.
"There it is..." The Prince said before he let go of Vocada's neck, being forced to block a kick from him that sent him skidding across the ground.
"So... You do have some fight in you after all!" The Prince said, seeming to get excited that Vocada could actually force him to block his attack.
Vocada had remembered that the scouter said this guy had a power level of 200, meaning he was much stronger than he was at the moment, knowing this probably wouldn't end well for him.
"Let's see if you can handle this!" The Prince said as he rushed forward, closing the distance between them in an instant, throwing a barrage of punches with all four arms, hitting Vocada all over his body as he failed to block his attacks, getting smashed into the wall.
"Don't tell me you're finished already!" The Prince yelled out before he suddenly smashed a powerful four-blow strike into Vocada's body, using all four of his fists at the same time, hitting him with so much force that Vocada burst through the stone wall and flew out of the prison tower into the square below where he crashed into the ground.
"Fuck..." Vocada said, feeling that his body had still not recovered from its wounds as he tried to get back up, watching as the Prince stood in the tower, looking down at him with a smile.
"I certainly do hope you aren't done just yet. I'm just getting started with you!" He yelled, giving Vocada the feeling that this fight was just beginning.
