Capítulo 44: Heated Situation

For almost an hour, Vincent and April walked around the island. Both were undeniably exhausted from being drenched in the ocean earlier, added by the hunger they felt at the present moment. They had not eaten when they left the office in the mid-morning. It must be a little after noontime by now since the sun was over their heads, hot and shining. The heat had dried their clothes already so the thirst was getting to them now.

April and Vincent remained silent, lost in their own thoughts.

April was just trying to keep up with Vincent's pace as they walk in silence amongst the trees on one side of the island.

Soon, they came across a small hut made of bamboo. There were also several chairs outside the hut nearby.

"My guess was right! This island is not deserted."

Vincent exclaimed in relief.

"Oh yeah, so why does it seem deserted then?"
