Capítulo 4: Chapter 3.

1 Hour Later.

The Sheriff having heard all the commotion of the 40 men ambushing Flint, assumed that the men were successful in their task of killing him. After all no normal man could survive being shot at from every direction by 40 different men all at the same time. Further more even if Flint tried to wait out the men by hiding somewhere until they ran out of bullets, the men could just rush him with knives and daggers and stab him to death. In the Sheriff's mind there was no outcome in which Flint would come out of that situation alive.

The Sheriff did hear the screaming of the men that died, or more specifically of the one man that Flint interrogated. All of the men that Flint killed with his gun, Darsey, didn't have enough time to scream or wail. All they could do was stare at a burning redish orange flare inching closer to their face for a few second before it incinerated their heads and parts of their neck and shoulders.

The Sheriff was so confidant that Flint was dead that he forced a young girl to come to his office to pleasure him as a form of celebration. The young girl intially had no interest in acting as a whore for a fat, below average looking man with a bushy black moustache and overly red irritated skin. She couldn't resist when the Sheriff told her how much he'd pay her, and also after he threatened her family. Knowing that the Sheriff could abuse his powers without any reprocusions and thinking to herself that she'd get paid alot of money anyway, she agreed to do it.

In the midst of their relations, the young girl and the Sheriff heard the screams of the man that Flint had interrogated but they couldn't make out what he was saying. It was a small town yes, but keeping in mind that the hut that Flint stayed at was pretty fear away from the Sheriff's office and that the windows of the office were closed, it didn't seem to bother the Sheriff wether he heard what the man was screaming about, or what he was telling Flint.

The young girl was kind of disturbed by the man's screaming however. I mean those were the scream of a man who had just gotten his foot blown off, armed crushed, bone snapped off and threatened to be blinded. Not particularly pleasant sounds were coming out of the man, rather haunting screeches for the young girl.

The Sheriff pulled her back in however and began to forcefully kiss her. She pulled away from him again. "What's wrong?" The Sheriff asked "Not scared of sum random screaming are you?" Almost in a mocking tone. It still hadn't crossed the Sheriff's mind that the man could've told Flint about who set up the whole ambush.

He heard the door downstairs open and thought that it was one of the men he hired coming to tell him that they killed Flint and to give him Flints gun. "Hold on" he told the girl. He got up and started buttoning his shirt up, while the girl started pull her clothes back on herself. As the Sheriff was buttoning up his shirt he noticed the girl staring at him, glancing at him shyly as if wanting to ask him something. "What?" He asked annoyed at her staring at him. The girl didn't say anything and continued to take glances at him and looking at the ground occasionally to break eye contact. "Ohh, the money." Again he said in an annoyed tone. He went to a cabinet where kept a bag of gold coins.

As he was looking for the bag, he shouted "Come on up!, I'm over here!" Thinking he was talking to one of the men he hired, hoping to receive Flints gun. Both he and the young girl heard slow, heavy footsteps making their way up the stairs gradually. The Sheriff confused, as he knew that most of the men were of average size, and the footsteps bared a significant weight to them aswell as a distinct sound. But he figured that it's probably one of the bigger men he hired. After all Darsey is a pretty big and heavy gun, it would need someone bigger and stronger to carry it.

He finally found the bag of gold coins, and went to pay the young girl for her services, when the door was suddenly kicked in. Flint kicked the door in, shattering it entirely and bending down to enter the door to make sure he didn't end up hitting the door frame. The young girl screamed in terror and ran to hide behind the desk. When the Sheriff heard the door shattering, he jumped in fear and dropped the bag, causing the gold coins to spill all over the floor.

The Sheriff looked at Flint in fear as he approached. Flint approached him slowly and covered in blood. The Sheriff was confused as to how Flint was still alive and how he found out that he ordered those men to go and kill him. "How!? How are you alive!?" He screamed. "Who told you I was behind it!?". Even the Sheriff wasn't dumb enough to think that Flint came to him clueless of what he was behind . He didn't think Flint came to him to warn him about 40 random men who happened to attack him for no reason either. He knew that Flint knew, and he saw it in his eyes that Flint had come here for only one thing.

Backed into a wall, the Sheriff tried to make a run for his desk to grab a spare gun that was hidden away in a drawer but stumbled and was caught by Flint. Flint started throwing the mayor around the room, ragdolling him as if he weighed the same as a small child. Kicking him in the stomach, kneeing him in the face, and throwing him into the air and letting him just hit the ground. "I'm kinda startin' to enjoy this. Sheriff." Flint remarked sadistically.

The Sheriff now beaten to a pulp and hopeless, musters up as much strength as he can "Wait! Please... I'm sorry... Please, I'll pay you, I'll do anything I swear !". Flint seeing him leaning on the desk decides to tell the young girl under it "move", the Sheriff thinking that Flint was talking to him replies with "W-what?". "Not you fatty. You under the table, move it." The girl crawls out from right hand side of the table and looks at Flint with fear. "Leave, it's not gonna be pretty." Flint tells the girls. But the girl doesn't leave, she lays on the ground next to Flint and the Sheriff and shares a brief look with Flint. She wants to see what Flint is going to do to the Sheriff. She wants to see the man that forced her to be his whore for a single night get hurt.

Flint gives a look of agreeance to the girl which gets interrupted by the Sheriff "What?, What do you mean it's not gonna be pretty?!?" Immediately Flint turns to the Sheriff before he can even react and drives his head through the wooden desk, into and through the floor. Huge wooden splinters from the desk and floor piercing the Sheriff's throat, causing him to start choking on the splinters and his own blood. The young girl also got took by surprise and inductively looked away from the gruesome sight but managed to refrain herself from screaming. Flint new that the Sheriff had taken advantage of this innocent girl, and he understood the hatred she had for him. But he also started to realise that maybe she was lying to herself. Sure she hated the Sheriff, but she also hated blood, death and other gruesome sights. The Sheriff was an evil and manipulative man, but in her eyes no one deserved to go through the experience that the Sheriff's going through. How ever naive that way of thinking may be, it was would be wierder for a girl her age to be a violent, cruel, sadistic person who takes pleasure in hurting people.

The sound of the Sheriff choking on his blood and gasping for air didn't sit right with her, even if she did hate him. Holding back her tears, she slowly began to open her eyes and turned her gaze to the Sheriff laying on the ground, bloodied wooden spikes coming out of his neck. She forced herself to look at it. To look at him dying. Flint took one last look at her and turned back to the Sheriff himself. He bent down to the Sheriff, and took his start shaped pin off from his vest. He stood up again and took out and loaded Darsey. Darsey pointed at the Sheriff, Flint covered the young girls eyes and shot the Sheriff. The ball of fire burned right through his skull and into the floor below him. The shot was so violent that it took the rest of the Sheriff's body to the floor below.

The Sheriff's blood splattered all over Flint and his face. only a few drops got onto the girls clothes however. Flint made sure to stand Infront of her as to not get her face covered in blood. If it was any other circumstance he would have just let her get dirtied by the blood. But Flint thought that the Sheriff's blood was something too disgusting to taint a young girls pretty face (anyone's else's blood was fair game though). Flint took his hand off of the girls eyes and as she opened them she saw that most of the Sheriff's upper half was gone, and only the torso and legs were still there. She wondered to herself why such a violent weapon exists, and why is Flint the one to have it. In her mind Flint was a decent man. A killer yes, but he has morals atleast, she thought to herself.

Flint now covered in the Sheriff's blood wipes his face, though only the eye area, the rest of his face was still stained with blood, along with his hair and clothes. He went to the bag of spilled coins and picked it up. He took 2 and threw them at the girl "Sorry for the mess" he said while leaving.

The girl caught the 2 coins and as she looked at them, she began to hate Flint aswell. "Is that what this was about?" Thinking to herself that Flint was just another greedy man who only lived for money, he was like the Sheriff she thought to herself. It didn't help that Flint made it look like he was only there for the money, but truly he wasn't. Granted he also wasn't there to "save" the girl from the Sheriff. He was just there to kill what was rightfully his to kill.

Flint headed over to the Mayor's office and barged in. Some men tried to stop him at the door but he made quick work of them. Knocking them out. Not killing them ofcourse. He waltzed into the Mayor's office quarters to which he was met with more men trying to protect the Mayort. This time at gunpoint, Flint just took out the Sheriff's star shaped badge from his pocket and showed it to the Mayor. The Mayor told his guards to lower their guns. Flint walked up to his desk and throw the badge on it "Find a new one Gramp" and walked off, dripping in blood, his face, hair and clothes all painted crimson.

Flint took the bag of gold coins that belonged to the Sheriff and decided to leave the town. He first stopped at a river near the town, to wash off all the blood. As he was washing off the blood, he stopped and looked around. He continued washing off the blood, but he couldn't shake the feeling of someone or something watching him.
