"And what?" Kenny Lin asked, his expression calm, but Amalia could sense that if she didn't satisfy him with her answer, he would be furious.

"I found that my ability to absorb energy from crystal core has sped up again," Amalia revealed, mentioning how she had accidentally absorbed a high-level crystal core quickly.

Kenny Lin stroked his chin, "Interesting. It seems we really are a perfect match."

Amalia always wondered why their conversations, no matter how normal it is, always veered off in this direction.

She could guess what he meant by "perfect match," and she didn't want to continue that line of thought.

Kenny Lin glanced at her and sighed, "It would be nice if you were a little bit dumber."

"You can always find someone else," Amalia replied with a sidelong glance.

"No, I'm quite satisfied with you," Kenny Lin said quickly.

Amalia sighed, "Well, thank you very much then."
