Capítulo 47: Chapter 46: 2nd phase of the Plan
As the blade pierced through Gojo's stomach, I saw him look surprised.
As Gojo fell, azure eyes blazing, he summoned every last ounce of strength. "|Limitless: Blue|" he choked out.
Sapphire light engulfed the assailant in an instant, sending him hurtling across the school grounds to smash into a towering boulder.
Rock shattered on impact, dust and debris raining down.
Gojo struggled to his feet, facing the mysterious attacker now revealed to be a big aesthetic man.
Blood dripped from the wound in his back but he remained standing through sheer willpower alone.
"Suguru, take Riko and Kuroi inside," Gojo ordered between pained gasps. "Tengen's layer barrier will keep them safe."
I hesitated, not wanting to leave Gojo alone in his wounded state. But his gaze, fiery with resolve, left no room for argument.
"I'll be fine," Gojo insisted. "Now go!"
***3rd POV***
As Geto disappeared from view with Riko and Kuroi, Gojo let out a shaky breath.
His back still pulsed with agony from the deep stab wound, blood flowing freely. But he squared his shoulders and dusted off his clothes, acting as if it was but a scratch.
His unfaltering cyan eyes bored into Toji, who was emerging from the settling cloud of debris.
A thin smile stretched across Toji's features as he walked, the worm-like cursed spirit on his shoulder.
Gojo met Toji's smirk with a cocky one of his own. "What are you waiting for?" he taunted, swaying slightly on his feet.
"If you bleed like that, you will die of blood loss brat" Toji walked scratching his head "Tsk, not that it matters...." he continued.
Gojo sensing Geto was far away loosened his tensed shoulders, He smiled at Toji, the past agony completely vanished from his face as he said, "Oh, this...." Gojo used |Reversed Cursed Technique| and continued, "Here, all healed up... what were you talking again..?"
Toji stared in disbelief as Gojo began healing the wounds on his body.
The lacerations that Toji had inflicted just moments ago were knitting themselves back together at a fast pace before his very eyes.
A red glow emanated from Gojo's injuries as his cursed energy repaired all the damage.
This wasn't supposed to be possible. All of Toji's planning had hinged on the fact that Gojo was unable to utilize Reverse Cursed Techniques. It was the one weakness he had to exploit.
Toji had spent years studying Gojo, learning his techniques, and devising strategies specifically to counter the prodigious cursed energy the man wielded.
But nothing in his research had hinted that Gojo possessed this ability
Gojo met his eyes, a hint of smugness in his expression, as if he knew Toji was caught off guard.
Toji scowled, recalculating furiously.
Toji threw his blade and took out the Inverted Spear of Heaven from the curse's mouth.
'... Not that it changes anything' Toji lunged forward with incredible speed, thrusting his blade towards Gojo's heart.
But Gojo had already activated his Limitless technique, perceiving everything in slow motion.
Toji's body vanished in front of his eyes and Toji appeared from his backside as he lunged his blade at full force towards Gojo.
The Inverted Spear of Heaven cut through Gojo's Limitless as a sly smile came on Toji's face But-
*Halt-* *crackle-creck-crackel*
Gojo used his |Void Breathing|, crackling violet/blue sparks engulfed his body and his hair lifted upwards, giving him a menacing look.
Gojo simply grabbed the blade and *Crack* the blade cracked and broke due to his sheer strength.
Toji's survival instincts kicked in and he jumped backward, putting some distance between him and Gojo.
Toji was subjected to a Heavenly Restriction where his ability to use or create cursed energy was sacrificed in exchange for unrivaled physical ability.
But, this kid, in front, just halted his blade and shattered it, what was happening, the kid is able to use the most powerful techniques, could use Reversed techniques, could match his physical ability, what was happening....????????????????????
"What is this technique brat? Never seen anything like this.." Toji asked seeing Gojo's whole body emitting violent lightning.
"I don't answer.... weaklings.." Gojo replied, "Now come at me" he commanded.
Toji's body vanished from its place and with a blinding speed he charged at Gojo with his now broken blade.
"Too... slow.." Gojo casually sidestepped the attack and grabbed Toji's wrist, stopping the blade inches from his chest.
Before Toji could react, Gojo said "Reversal Red" and a burst of red energy shot towards the blade in Toji's hands.
"You'll have to do better than that," Gojo taunted.
He tossed Toji towards a large boulder nearby.
As Toji flew through the air, Gojo launched another Reversal Red at him.
Toji, now unarmed, tried desperately to defend himself with the remnants of his broken blade.
But it was no use against Gojo's technique. The burst of red collided with Toji and sent him crashing into the stone with crushing force.
Toji fell to the floor, blood pouring from his mouth.
His body was battered and broken, yet still, he pushed himself up on shaking arms.
Through the haze of pain, Toji glared up at Gojo with pure defiance in his eyes, "You are full of surprises, aren't you? Heh, It's getting fun."
Gojo could not help but admire Toji's indomitable spirit.
worm-like curse crept and offered up a particularly large knife. Toji grasped it tightly, the last hope clutched in his weakening hands.
Without a word, Toji rushed at Gojo again, ignoring the raw agony coursing through his body. He swung the blade wildly, attempting another barrage of strikes.
But Gojo was unfazed, intercepting each attack with deliberate ease as he hovered above. Not a single strike could penetrate Gojo's ethereal defenses.
"You're out of your league, Toji," Gojo said calmly from mid-air. His unruffled demeanor only served to further enrage Toji.
In an instant, Gojo removed his glasses and his eyes glowed violet. "Cursed Technique: Reversal Red".... "Cursed Technique: Laps Blue"..... " Hollow.... Purple" he declared. A swirling void of distortion erupted through space and shot toward Toji.
