Capítulo 38: Two truths and a lie

Nia's POV

As I gazed into Juan's eyes, a sense of dread washed over me, my voice barely audible as I whispered his name. "Nia," he groaned, his voice strained with pain as he tried to break free from his restraints. His desperate attempts to break free only added to my fear, knowing we were both helpless in this situation.

My heart raced as I watched one of the men pass by, clutching the journal tightly before handing it to the masked figure. It had to be X, I thought to myself, my stomach churning with anxiety.

"That must be X," I thought to myself, a shiver running down my spine at the sight of the figure in the mask.

"X," I uttered, the name leaving a bitter taste in my mouth as he turned his attention towards me. His presence sent shivers down my spine.
