The footsteps were light and fast, circling around them. Both Max and Lily raised their guards immediately.

— That sound…

— Could it be?!

— This… This is bad, isn't it? Not for Breeze, but for LilyPixel!

It echoed louder and louder as if it was approaching them. The way it moved was as if it wasn't even scared and considered them as mere prey.

Crash! Bam! Thud!

Various sounds of boxes and metal knocked over followed suit. A cloud of dust was kicked high in the air, allowing them to know where the enemy was coming from. It was from the direction of the exit, and both of them pointed their guns toward it.

A few seconds later, it made its appearance. Having a long, decayed body, its head was that of a human. From what Max could see, this enemy easily reached more than 10 meters long.
