Capítulo 217: A lost case
'Yup, as I thought, she is worse than my wives.' Austin thought as he watched the violent aura around his mother that was shifting and mix to many different colors.
Anger, hate, jealousy, love, affection, passion and many more emotions that Austin was witnessing at the moment.
Maybe it was a mistake to kiss her back then? Because like that, he had awaken the Pandora and he didn't know what would happen if the pandora took over.
Anyway, what's done is done, there is nothing he could do, besides, he already loves his mother so no problem.
He only needs to control her as he did with his wives. But on the other hand, Andromeda was sweating buckets, she could feel the change in her mother-in-law's aura, it became so violent and that look she gave her was like the look a sworn enemy would give.
'Did I do something wrong? Did I? Or maybe not? I don't know, I don't remember.' She thought as she felt helpless in such situation. Currently, Amanda was like a ticking bomb, one wrong move and you are done for. Even Mia who was standing at one corner in the dinning room was shuddering as she could feel her lady's wrath.
Believe me.
Austin sighed and took a deep breath before stepping forward and walked to the seats in front of his mother. He sat right opposite her while Andromeda beside him, sitting like a good wife, occasionally shooting glances at Amanda who giving her a deathly smile. She could swear that she saw her make a gesture with her thumb as if telling her that she is already dead.
'Save me darling! She is gonna kill me!' Andromeda screamed inwardly.
"Mom, can you calm down?" Finally, Austin spoke.
"Huh? I'm already calm, can't you see it?" Amanda turned to Austin and said with a smile but her actions betrayed her.
"If you are calm, then you won't bend the fork in your hand right now."
Amanda widened her eyes before looking down at her left hand that had the fork that was already bended in a weird angle. And seeing this she seemed to regain her calm and cool.
'What have I done?! Did I go crazy in front of my son who had brought a woman with him home?!' she screamed inwardly before taking a deep breath and let it out, this helped her feel better.
"S-Sorry for that dear, you know I was pressure lately so, maybe this was the cause for the sudden outburst." She said with an apologetic smile. But Austin didn't buy it, he knew those of her kind so well, after all, he raised multiple of them at home and made them more obedient, but his mother was more sever.
However, he pretended to believe her and smiled before saying "No problem, as long as you feel better. Anyway, I have a reason for coming back here."
"Oh, reason? Of course, a reason, why you would come back to see an old outdated woman like me? So, why did you come back?" Amanda said with a self-depreciating smile while Austin could see a heavy and deep blue color surrounding her making him widen his eyes and for a moment they turned to slits before they turned back to normal.
This blue color, was so deep like the depth of the ocean, he had never seen anyone with such a remarkably deep color. This only means one thing, a deep suffocating sadness.
For a second, Austin was taken over by anger but his wife's hand on his made him calm down immediately.
'No, I can't let my anger take over, I can never forgive myself if I hurt my mother.' He said inwardly while sighing.
"Mom, even without a reason I would have come because I missed you so much, Anabelle's visit was the excuse that gave me the reason to come back here. As I said before, you are a very important person in my life mother."
Hearing this, especially the last thing he said, Amanda's mind eased and her felt a warm feeling spreading in her heart making it beat fast.
'He said I'm the most important person in his life Hehehehe. Then who is this bitch? Why she is still sitting on the table with us, shoo away.' Austin could see the deep and dark pink aura surrounding his mother making him think that this was at least enough to make her calm. Even if it was a little.
And while his mother was swimming in her thoughts, Austin and Andromeda were watching her. They could swear that they heard a very creepy laugh came out of her, even Mia heard it and assumed that it was her imagination playing tricks on her.
"Darling, is my mother-in-law alright? I could feel that she is not okay." Andromeda whispered to Austin so, Amanda wouldn't hear.
"Well, she is mentally and emotionally unstable, she needs to calm down and take a long rest." Austin whispered back.
"Then we need to help her darling."
"I know, that's why I came here."
After that, the breakfast went smoothly and the three enjoyed their meal, well, it was only Austin and Amanda talking while Andromeda was like an abandoned dog in the streets of a rainy day.
Amanda didn't even spare a glance at her. Not even a bit.
Anyway, they left the dinning room and walked to the living room to enjoy some time together along with a cup of tea.
"So, dear, can you tell me what is that reason of yours that made you come back?" Suddenly Amanda asked breaking the silence in the room.
"Well..... Anabelle told me something that made me so worried about you, so, I can here to help you as best as I can.'
"Aw thank you very much darling~ your presence is just enough to make me feel you."
"Oh, so this little girl who recently became a woman as she claims told you something about me, huh."
"Many things actually, but don't worry, as long as I'm here, you don't need to worry or feel pressured, just sleep and rest like the beautiful lady you are." .
This seemed to lighten the mood and made Amanda quite happy which pleased Austin and made him sight in relief.
But then—
"But dear, you didn't tell me about this woman beside you yet."
