"I thought that too, but considering they have equipment that only the highest royalty possesses, and the fact that they know about the king's situation, what he said might be true," said Mamon, facing Tuk's disbelief.

"But why, though? Isn't our whole journey's purpose to continue our kingdom's lineage?" Tuk asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

"Well, I'm a knight, and I don't know much about the inner relations of royalty. I don't have much interest in governance either, so just like you, I don't have any clue about why they're doing this," replied Mamon, sounding clueless.

"But what I know is we have to get to the prince's as quickly as possible; those bastards might try to do something else to kill us on our way,"
