Paul's POV

"What's happening with Naya? Why is she not answering her phone at this hour? She could not be still asleep. Or is something bad happened that I did not know again?" I continually murmured to myself while calling Naya a few times already.

"What's going on?" my mother suddenly asked. I did not even know that she was watching me the whole time. 

I froze when I heard her voice and felt embarrassed. I am acting like an impatient kid. 

"C'mon, Paul! You are acting weird!" she chuckled. 

I looked at her with frustration and said "Naya is not answering my call. She must not be still asleep?" 

My mother laughed very loudly, and her face turned red. 

I suddenly blushed. I realized I was really acting like a spoiled kid. I felt embarrassed in front of my mother.
