Loreen opened her eyes and looked around. 

Leo was not in the car.

They were parked somewhere. And Edric seemed to be asleep too.

She gazed at his peaceful sleeping face. 

These past few days, it had become her habit to gaze at his sleeping face whenever she had the chance.

She was preparing herself emotionally for their farewell so she was taking the last chances she could see such various sides to him.

Edric had been a good husband to her no matter how she thought about it.

Sometimes she didn't understand either why she was still set on parting with him despite everything.

Loreen cupped his face and caressed his cheek gently.
