"Stop it. You are overestimating me," Loreen felt embarrassed at all the praise. But it made her happy.

"Don't be so humble. I know you are very much capable. Be proud and more confident of yourself. Congratulations on getting promoted," Edric still looked so proud of her.

"Thank you," Loreen felt like she might cry. 

Almost all of her workmates had negative reactions about her promotion, but Edric was congratulating her with pride in his eyes.

Someone finally felt genuinely happy and proud of her on getting that promotion.

"What's wrong?" Edric noticed and cupped her face.

"N-Nothing…"

"Tell me," Edric knew it wasn't nothing.

Loreen gulped and was silent for a few seconds trying to gather herself.
