Loreen was so annoyed that he was even commenting on her appearance. 

But his words at least debunked one of her theories that gaining weight could have been one of the reasons he divorced her.

"Well, I'm no longer with you, Mr. Harvey," she pointed out matter-of-factly.

Edric opened his mouth like he was about to say something but closed it again so Loreen continued before he could speak.

"You have no right to comment on my appearance now," she managed a half smile.

So, what if she looked terrible to him now? 

She was no longer his obedient wife. 

Why should she care about what looks good for him?

Edric was visibly annoyed by her behavior. 

It sent a pang to her chest, but it was rather funny that seeing her smile irritates him now. He used to say he liked seeing her smile.

"I'm earning my keep. I'm feeding myself with money I earned myself.
