General Logan's eyes were like deep pools, hiding sharpness and scrutiny as he looked at Leonard Churchill.
He had intended to intimidate this "outsider" who appeared out of nowhere, but the man before him seemed utterly unaffected by his imposing presence, his expression unchanged.
Though puzzled, he quickly concealed it.
Upon hearing Leonard's greeting, Logan quickly adjusted his expression, revealing a smile that showed neither joy nor anger, and replied, "Young Master Leonard, you truly have an impressive bearing. I have heard some of your exploits, and seeing you today, they indeed seem extraordinary."
In his words, the invisible pressure quietly receded.
Leonard, upon hearing this, narrowed his eyes slightly, his face also adorned with a smile similar to that of the old man: "General, you flatter me."
But unnoticed by others, a sinister smirk flashed across his eyes, and he murmured in his heart, "This old man has harbored a Killing Intention... "
