Capítulo 85: The Meeting Begins & Evander's Reasoning

"Good now that we are settled in we can begin," Evander smiled gently. "Now how shall we start"

"Seeing as you are unable to reveal your identity, I presume you first wish to know what our strength is and if we would be of use to you, is that correct" Evander continued.

"Indeed, we will decide if you are an ally or foe," Thorne said in a commanding and domineering tone. Evander did not flinch and only kept smiling at Thorne.

"Mm, what is it you wish to know? The Patriarch has given me the authority to speak with you without any transgressions." 

Thorne and Astrid had taken their seats, but their expressions indicated that they were a little dissatisfied with their current treatment. They had wanted to speak with the Patriarch of the house, but instead, they met with an elder.

Even with the knowledge that the house only had five elders, they still seemed unsatisfied.
