One day later
‘I need to go and see her. She hasn’t called me!’ Leo thought to himself as he washed his face, which looked worse than it was last night.
At first, he thought that his mother would reach out to him, but he was just fooling himself.
Never once did she send even a text. It was just silent, and it made him very anxious.
Whoever was wrong in this case no longer mattered. Now that he was an adult, what would happen if his mother decided to ditch him and his father?
Although they were separated already, the fact that his mother still remained was enough for him to have that trust in her.
As for why she went out wearing that short dress? Did it matter anymore?
She was single and deserved to do whatever she wanted. As for them being Christians, Leo completely forgot about that.
An hour later, Leo was once again walking towards the hotel lobby. He didn’t call beforehand to check whether she was there or not but decided to just go.
