Capítulo 130: Rougenfort Castle
Inside Resonance City, Blanc and Helena were in front of a newly built castle in the middle of the city.
He nodded in satisfaction with a big smile on his face after seeing the end result of the carpenters' hard work.
Building the castle in the middle of the city wasn't an easy task. This is because they had to demolish and relocate some of the existing buildings in order to make room for the castle.
However, having a huge castle with lots of room for operation and a defensive layout is necessary for them to progress.
More and more spies are trying to infiltrate their city and staying in the city hall is starting to become a bit too dangerous for Blanc.
Just the other day, an assassin who slowly gained their trust managed to reach Blanc's office and attempted to assassinate him.
Unfortunately for the assassin, he was unsuccessful because he was far too weak compared to Blanc.
This is the reason why Helena urged Blanc to immediately transfer his operations to the new castle where his study would be located in a large hall and only authorized personnel would be able to enter.
Blanc also thought that it would be a good idea to transfer his operations now in preparation for the future.
Finally, the huge castle was completed and all of his subordinates agreed to call it Rougenfort Castle as a sign of respect to Blanc who brilliantly led them through every obstacle from when they were just a tiny village in the middle of nowhere.
The curious citizens who weren't too busy surrounded the new castle and watched as Blanc officially announced the completion of Rougenfort Castle.
Blanc and Helena entered the gate and happily looked around as they slowly walked towards the front door of Rougenfort Castle.
Amazingly, although the external decorations of the castle were still in progress, the entire periphery of the castle already looked neat and majestic.
There were growing flower beds in front of the castle neatly planted on both sides of the pathway toward the castle door.
In addition to this, there were neatly trimmed small trees scattered just outside the castle and lastly, stone sculptures of warriors, archers, cavalrymen, Helena, the battalion commanders, and Blanc were placed all over the castle as decoration.
After seeing how beautifully designed the castle was, Blanc made a mental note to give the internal designer, the decorator, the sculptor, and the gardener a sizable monetary bonus.
When the two of them reached the castle door, Blanc and Helena nodded in a satisfied manner after seeing that the front door was made of adamantite just like the castle doors of King Terravalle IX.
He specifically requested this since it was very efficient in terms of both aesthetics and defense.
After admiring the adamantite door for a while, Blanc and Helena toured the entire castle.
They visited the reception area, the dining area, the guest rooms, the staff quarters, the huge kitchen, and finally, they arrived at Blanc's new office.
Again, he nodded in satisfaction after seeing the huge adamantite door and when he finally came inside, he was awestruck.
He never expected that the interior of his office would be so huge!
Helena smiled widely after seeing Blanc excitedly check the items inside his new office one by one, he even sat on his office chair with a smile on his face.
Since they still had time before an important meeting that involved all of the distinguished individuals inside Resonance City, Blanc and Helena decided to check their own rooms.
Blanc gave his office one last satisfied look before leaving and walking towards their rooms.
Naturally, for security purposes, his room was located closest to his office so that the guards of his room and the guards of his office could quickly coordinate with each other when the need arose.
Of course, the guards who were promoted as royal guards were handpicked by Helena herself.
After just a few minutes of walking, the two of them arrived at his room. He quickly checked the only thing that matters for him inside the room which is a personal training space inside his room.
The indoor training area was fairly large with enough space to accommodate at least ten people. Also, it was built with state of the art equipment and everything that he needed to improve was there including swordsmanship books and military strategy books.
It was the same for Helena, she only did a quick check and after seeing that her personal training space was exactly the same as Blanc's she nodded in a satisfied manner.
"Oh, look at the time. Let's head towards the main hall."
Blanc and Helena left Helena's room and quickly headed towards the main hall where all of the distinguished people of Resonance City were waiting to discuss a very important matter together.
