Capítulo 2: Chapter 2: The System is broken!
The adults set up shop in a different cave and quickly had some tents, a fireplace and a latrine done. Just the essentials. My siblings and I looked around with curiosity while the adults kept building our new home. We weren't really the main interest, we were fed and kept clean but ultimately left alone. Hey adults! Children need to be entertained and played with so their brains develop!
Let's see what kind of Isekai this is.

System! Nothing
Menus, Inventory, Skills, anything! Nope!
Does that mean I have no secret Skills, no broken magic I can use to become a hero, no evolution to a hot dragon woman, nothing? I'll just grow up, become an old Lizard and die? What kind of boring Story is that supposed to be?
I waddled around in the crib and quickly was bored out of my mind. My siblings mainly lay down when they weren't eating. So, no playing with them either, such babies! I spent the first weeks watching the adults absorbing as much knowledge as I could. Turns out my folk was called Kobolds, I vaguely remember that word from a roleplaying game but I'm sure those Kobolds were dogs, not Lizards. The language was easy to understand as the basic grammar was similar to mine and only the words differed. Additionally, they added chirps and whistles to emphasize emotion which sounded like they were singing all the time!
Every day felt like a musical to me. So, while my siblings practiced crawling I practiced speaking, I could already crawl pretty well so I wanted to skip that and go right to walking too. Soon I'd be walking and talking and out of this dumb crib! Our Center of balance was really off but with the help of the crib wall, I steadily raised myself up, and immediately fell. Try again, and again and again. The adults started to look at me with pity in their eyes. Seems there's always an eager youngling who wants to walk before they can crawl, I'd give up soon enough. I did give up, turns out that during the first 6 months all that baby fat just melts off and we can walk. So annoying, I can't even speedrun becoming an adult.
At least I started speaking sooner than my siblings and could ask questions to the adults if they ever cared to look for us. Kobolds are demi-dragons, meaning we descend from dragons and still have dragon blood. So dragons are real? Awesome! Oh, they got extinct forever ago? Lame! The green guys are called goblins and live in the upper levels of the caves but occasionally go deeper to hunt for us as they think our blood makes them stronger. Which is so obviously stupid I almost choked on a cave fruit, some kind of bleak orange.
"So we don't have any magic or powers?", I asked the elder one evening as she told us stories about the ancient dragons and how they once ruled the skies. She looked at me gently but also determined and held one hand up.

She said calmly, and her hand was instantly ablaze with fire. She shook out the flames and smiled at me and the other younglings who all ooh-ed and ah-ed at her display. Her hand was completely fine! That's it, I'm going to learn magic ASAP!
