Surprised to receive the call, he answered it with a sullen face.

Before he could say anything, Gloria stated, "I'm going to see Karen tonight."

His face clouded over. "What for?"

She gave a cold laugh. "Weren't you the one who told me to visit her often?"

His brows were locked in a frown. "Let's go together after work."

She hung up the phone without another word.
