Adam was in the living room on the first floor. When he heard footsteps, he looked up and saw that Lumma was fully dressed. He knew what she wanted to do without asking her. "Are you leaving?"

Lumma nodded. "Mr. Hills, I caused you trouble last night."

Adam got up. "Come with me to the study."

Lumma followed him upstairs again. This was the first time Lumma came to the third floor of the villa. There was a master bedroom, a cloakroom, and a study on the third floor.
