In the meantime, an effect from the Reality Gem caused disturbances on Earth. Jane Foster, Thor's girlfriend, followed her friends to an abandoned factory, where they encountered bizarre phenomena that defied the laws of physics.
In this abandoned factory, objects behaved unnaturally, such as a young boy lifting a truck with ease, or items disappearing into an endless cycle of falling from the sky to the ground.
One enthusiastic man even threw his car keys into this phenomenon, expecting them to fall back. However, they failed to return, leaving him without a ride.
Jane ventured down a narrow passage in the factory and was suddenly engulfed by a strong suction, which pulled her into a mysterious space. In this unfamiliar environment, Jane noticed something odd, and the experience was just the beginning of a strange journey.
Without warning, Jane found herself in a dark, unknown space, no longer in the abandoned factory. The area was dimly lit by an unknown light source, casting an eerie ambiance.
Jane cautiously climbed a set of stairs and reached a vast, dark altar. In the center of the altar, she discovered an unusual object.
Approaching it with the dim light from her mobile phone, Jane reached out to touch the object. However, when she made contact, her body was enveloped by a dark, red substance, and ether particles began to swarm around her.
Jane's body was no longer under her control, and she felt powerless to call for help. Her body absorbed the ether particles pouring into her, and she passed out.
At the edge of the universe, in an impenetrably dark realm, the Dark Elf King Malekith, who had been dormant for countless years, was awakened by the activity of ether particles. He aimed to use the power of these particles to bring darkness back to the Nine Realms.
Malekith had attempted to plunge the Nine Realms into darkness with the help of ether particles, but was thwarted by the Asgardian gods. Now, the reactivated ether particles awakened the slumbering Malekith.
Malekith observed the nine planets of the Nine Realms and noticed they had formed a straight line, causing a space folding between them. This was why Earthlings were appearing directly in Asgard.
Simultaneously, the erratic space phenomena allowed many creatures in the Nine Realms to reach other worlds through spontaneous space folding.
