The Asgardian guards nodded and extended their hands simultaneously. Guided by their divine powers, they effortlessly absorbed the energy from the Power Gem, causing a substantial amount of purple mist to be drawn into a storm-like vortex, swiftly absorbed into their bodies.
Rhodes observed that their divine power increased explosively. Without their genetically modified physiques, the mighty Power Gem might have overwhelmed them. But now, their transformed divine bodies could contain more of this potent energy.
After a brief period of absorption, the Asgardian guards stopped. Their divine power had reached its upper limit, and further absorption could be detrimental to their bodies.
Rhodes noted that the three Asgardian guards' strength had increased nearly a hundredfold.
Their power now rivaled that of powerful gods in Asgard.
Rhodes was ecstatic about this substantial leap in strength. If this method proved successful, he could potentially empower all of Asgard's soldiers, making them comparable to gods in combat ability.

The Asgardian guards pledged, "We are willing to go through any trial for Lord Rhodes."
Rhodes gave the command, "Very well, return to your duties and stand guard."
They acknowledged, "Yes, Lord Rhodes."
Rhodes was content with the progress and delighted by the new application of the Power Gem. Using teleportation, he moved to the Temple of Valor where more than 100,000 heroes were training. He believed that with their training, they could achieve even more significant power.
The Temple of Valor had expanded, and the first batch of heroic warriors he had trained had become extremely powerful. Each heroic warrior could easily defeat dozens of Asgardian soldiers, making them the elite legion of Asgard.
Bell, wearing golden armor with a golden robe, was leading the training of a rookie heroic warrior. He was a formidable figure, motivating the trainees with his stern words.
Rhodes said, "Excellent job, Bell."

The heroic warriors raised their golden spears and chanted in unison, "Yes!"
Rhodes explained, "You will absorb the energy from this Power Gem to the best of your ability. The extent of your improvement depends on your diligence."
Floating above the heroic warriors, Rhodes initiated genetic and physical transformation. Their enhanced bodies allowed them to absorb the Power Gem's energy effectively.
As the heroic warriors felt the changes within their bodies, Rhodes encouraged them to absorb the energy without hesitation.
Rhodes prevented the energy from leaking, ensuring that it was contained within the square of the Temple of Valor.
The strength of the heroic warriors began to surge as they absorbed the energy, and after some time, they reached their new power limits.
Rhodes, observing from above, was content with their progress.
Suddenly, one heroic warrior exclaimed as flames erupted from his body, forcing others to retreat due to the intense heat.
Rhodes acted swiftly, teleporting to the warrior and extinguishing the flames with a single slap. The warrior was unharmed but confused.
The heroic warrior asked, "Master Rhodes, what's happening to my body?"
Rhodes, with a smile, explained, "You've awakened a special ability. After absorbing the energy from the Power Gem, some may develop superpowers."
He mentioned the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, who had acquired superpowers after absorbing the energy of the Mind Stone.
Rhodes was satisfied with the unexpected development; not all who absorbed the Power Gem would gain gem-related superpowers. However, the possibility was real.
If the group of Asgardian warriors under his command could develop superpowers from the Power Gem, Asgard could have a significant number of superheroes.
