The story plotline seems okay. I can't tell if the translation is terrible or if the author was really that bad. The gender of one character might change paragraph to paragraph. The names are inconsistent; at one point the child's last name was different in the same paragraph. So bad. It seems this story was written with Chinese names at first then changed to super awkward Western names later. I would love to read this with the original names. Anyone know if there is a translated version of this with the original names?
Names of places and even background objects are misrepresented or shoddily fabricated. Character speech and description is choppy and it takes you out of the story. Translation work is poorly done. A few more editing passes would have made this readable but as is, it is a headache waiting to happen.
Why are you changing the character's name? Come on, change it back to the original name. It's supposed to be a sequel to the 8x8=64 group since they are in the same universe. It feels weird reading this with a Western name.
They should change the names back. As much as I want to read the story, I won’t be reading this translation. This is part of a 7 part series with recurring characters and it will be hard to keep up with these totally unrelated names.
I'm bad at writing these things, but I do want to say im 16 chapters in and this story is simply amazing I love it and I recommend this story highly.
The plot is well known: FL is tricked by evil stepsister and stepmom, FL gets pregnant and disappears from the face of the earth for him until. Many years later. The story itself is interesting, however it is so badly translated whereas even the name of the characters get switched. I know there’s a better translation. I just haven’t found it. Hope they give this a good editor or just go back with the original names and don’t mess up a good story.
shaking my head why the name change .. should keep everything orginal 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ name is in English accept the male lead but money is still yuan in the novel 🙄🙄

Why English names?!This book is on Zhao family of 8X8=64 group belonging to the same world universe of book series by the authour "Like Dawn" or "As if Dawn" or as previously known "Dawnesque".Western characters are Western and eastern are Eastern. Changing the names don't make them Western. Particularly NOT Dawnesque's stories' and character settings!🤦🏽♀️
I like very much though I'm a little confused why the author change the name of the characters... I'm waiting for chapter releases on the old one I didn't know it was changed
I really like the plot of the story I like the characters in the story, it's funny how all the sudden they find each other after 5 years ....
I swear i dont understand why would they change the character naming etc. It became difficult to read. No need to hide, i already finish read the raw anyway
