"It's ours." Adrian Zhekova said.
Without him saying it, Cindy Clarke already knew.
As soon as the little one went into the living room with her slippers on, Cindy also went in and changed her shoes.
"Is the housekeeper not here?" Cindy asked after Adrian entered the room.
She had been waiting at the door for Adrian but hadn't started looking around.
If the housekeeper was here, she should have come out by now.
No one had come out, so she must not be here.
"I don't really like having outsiders around when I'm at home," Adrian explained, "So the housekeeper usually comes to clean at set times and leaves when she's done. When I'm at home, she's usually not here."
"Then how do you eat your meals usually?" Cindy asked again.
