Capítulo 41: Chapter 39: United Resolve: Seraphine and Kai's Stand
Chapter starts on planet Kurayami, and Seraphine is overwhelmed with shock and grief over Zenithar's death. Tears stream down her face as she confronts Malgarius, the one responsible.
Malgarius, the sinister figure, observes her emotions with a cold demeanor. He speaks with a condescending tone, addressing her vulnerability.
Malgarius: "Child, your mentor couldn't defeat me. What makes you think you can?
Seraphine, determined and resolute, wipes away her tears, her voice trembling but unwavering.
Seraphine: "I'm not entirely sure myself, but I do know this: ever since I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a member of the Galactic Patrol. Now that my dream has come true, it's my duty to stop you by any means necessary and protect the void key."
As Seraphine stands firm, Kai, who had been silently observing, steps forward to support her. Their past disagreements seem trivial in the face of the imminent battle.
Kai: "Seraphine, despite our differences, I've come to admire you over this past month. If today is the day we meet our end, I want you to know that I want to face it alongside you."
Seraphine's cheeks flush slightly, and she returns Kai's sentiment.
Seraphine: "Likewise, Kai. Likewise."
With newfound determination, they prepare for the impending showdown, focusing on their unity and strength.
Malgarius, amused by their resolve, grins sinisterly.
Malgarius: "How delightful. Seraphine and Kai, was it? This will indeed be an interesting battle."
The fight begins, with Seraphine and Kai combining their strengths and executing coordinated attacks. Malgarius finds it challenging to keep up as they blind him with a dazzling solar flare and land a powerful punch that sends him flying. As he wipes blood from his nose, he can't help but acknowledge the challenge they pose.
